Red Summer studied Arts Education at Grambling State University before attaining Masters Degrees in Interdisciplinary Art from Columbia College Chicago and Heritage Preservation/ Museum Studies from Georgia State University. Curating the opening of The Hip Hop Museum DC was one of her main goals when moving to the DMV area after traveling the world as a Spoken Word Artist, Publisher, Performer, Motivational Speaker, and Filmmaker.
